On October 3rd, during the open house day at the Saxon State Parliament, the city of Sebnitz, as the host of the ‘Tag der Sachsen’ 2025, had the special opportunity to present itself to a wider audience in Dresden. Before the guests in the fully packed plenary hall, over 70 participants impressively showcased what our city has to offer.
A successful preview of next year’s ‘Tag der Sachsen’ were the impressive performances of the ArtistikTrio Akrom, who thrilled the audience with their spectacular presentations, as well as the dance groups from Tanzstudio Akzeptanz, who enriched the modern program with great passion and skill. Musically, the presentation was crowned by the Sachsenländer Blasmusikanten, who created a fantastic atmosphere with their lively brass band music.
The newly elected President of the State Parliament, Alexander Dierks, watched the performances of Sebnitz’s athletes, dancers, and musicians and thanked the participants for their commitment. Special thanks also go to the Sebnitz Youth Roundtable for their support and to former Sebnitz Flower Girl Jasmin Richter, who presented the traditional artificial flower craftsmanship.
