In almost exactly one year, it will be time: the ‘Tag der Sachsen’ (Day of the Saxons) will take place for the second time in Sebnitz and for the 30th time overall. To mark this special milestone, the motto ‘Towards Blossoming Experiences!’ was presented to the public on September 5, 2024, along with the event logo. Together with the current Sebnitz Flower Girl, Leonie Werner, and the Czech counterpart Robert Holec, Mayor Ronald Kretzschmar and the President of the ‘Tag der Sachsen’ Board of Trustees, Dr. Matthias Rößler, symbolically gave the starting signal and initiated the countdown leading up to the festival on the first weekend of September 2025.
During the press conference, Sebnitz also presented the three premium partners from the region who are providing extraordinary support for the ‘Tag der Sachsen’: Volksbank Pirna eG, SachsenEnergie AG, and Radeberger Gruppe KG, whose representatives directed encouraging words to the city of Sebnitz.
